Acá en Argentina se lo conoce más por Análisis Matemático, pero he dejado Cálculo (Infinitesimal) por ser el término más usado (incluso en inglés como Calculus). El tema tiene una interesantíma y larga historia que parte desde Arquímedes, pasando por Cavalieri, Oresme, Nicolás de Cusa, Pascal, Fermat, Barrow (... varios más.... ) llegando a Newton, Leibnitz, y siguiendo con Euler, Laplace, Lagrange, Fourier, (y varias decenas más). Está relacionado con la física, la topología, el análisis funcional, etc. Es un tema al que le debo un estudio más detenido. Por ahora, esta primera serie de enlaces que me resultaron interesantes.
