Ya sabrán que hubo anuncio el pasado 4 de Julio, sobre datos experimentales que muestran la aparición de un nuevo bosón en el CERN. Habrá que ver si cumple con las propiedades esperadas del bosón de Higgs. Un punto interesante: se lo encontró en un rango de energías que era uno de los dos últimos que quedaban por explorar (como si hubiera querido ocultarse a propósito ;-) y en el único que quedaba compatible con algunas teorías de supersimetría. Coincido con lo que declara alguno de los autores de abajo: puede ser uno de los descubrimientos más importantes desde que se encontró la partícula Z.
